South Suburban Darts

WYATT Challenger Lower Grades Singles
Event Three
Spearwood Damatinac 26th April 2014

Hello all and welcome to the wrap up of event number 3 of 8.

We had 62 players participate in the 3 divisions, Division 1 had 29 players, Division 2 had 16 players and Division 3 had 17 players. A good turn out by the players to the third event of the season considering we were competing against the Anzac/Easter period, School Holidays and the Ladies State Championships. We were at Spearwood Dalmatinac today and would like to thank Len and his staff for their hospitality.

There is five further event to complete the preliminaries prior to the finals starting where the Top Qualified 16 in each division will play off in the Grand Final on Saturday the 18th October 2014 at the Belmont Sports & Rec.
However, you must have played in at least 6 or 75% of the events to be eligible to play. Remember those who have played at least 6 events and are not in the Top 16 will be elevated into the 16 if higher points players are not qualified.

It is to your advantage to come and play every event you can.

If you are a genuine FIFO worker consideration may be given to qualifying with four events only and having accrued enough points but this will a consideration after employer confirmation of working dates.

It was good day with great darts in all divisions by the players present. It was good to see another 5 new players including Damon Brennan from Amity Darts in Albany, welcome to the Wyatt and thanks for the support.
Again thanks to Len and his staff for the use of the venue, a nice place to play darts with plenty of room and facilities for the players, cheers.

The next playing date is Saturday 10th May 2014 at Belmont Sports & Rec, Check In finishes at 9-30am for a 10-00am start.

A new era has begun and we welcome you all to the lower average darts train. This event had 62 players who attended but with holidays and other distractions over we should have a great turn out on the 10th of May at Belmont. The prize money paid out today was $670 and the amount carried over to the Finals from today was $520 which includes the Lucky Cards sold today. We have over $2000 after three events in the prize fund for the Grand Final in October. With 5 events to go, I am sure we will have a great total for the players in the final.

Good luck and good darts.
Mark and Allan
